I am not an emotional guy but when Shaheen came to bowl his 3rd over and couldn't even run, I just said hats off man. Wonderful bowling attack Pakistan. Keep it up.

If you are cricket lover , then you gotta admire Pakistan's attack. Shaheen is special , handle him well Pakistan. He is a gem , gonna be a legend if not wasted by PCB. Naseem is special too , 20 year old kid generating 145+ consistently with seam movement , terrific. Harris rauf was brilliant too , consistently near about 150. But as usual , they have one of the worst batting line up to kind of nullify that attack.

They have a bowling line up that any other nation would be envy of .... If not for that Shaheen injury things could go either way .... Pak lost 2 precious overs there ..... Pak put up a fight .... But they fell about 20 runs short ..... It's their batting which even if they had put 155 on the board their bowlers would've done the job

All batted first and scored just 60-70 runs in first 10 overs. These teams will never understand that T20 is never about keeping your wickets and anchoring the inning. Eng and Aus just go hard irrespective of number of fallen wickets and that's why they are kings of knockouts.
England had the worse bowling attack in last 2games except Rashid but Stubbornness of Rohit by keeping Rahul/DK/Ashwin in team cost the semi,He should have bring Ishan kishan or Pant immediately in team along with Chahal,Have no clue why Rohit was unable to see what we as fan can see from out side.

What a Stunning performance by Pakistan. They Starved England to reach 137. Unlike India's below average performance defending 168.
MCG pitch was bowling friendly pitch.although it doesn't change the fact that india bowled badly in semi finals..The thing is there is no substitute for pure pace...a decade ago we didn't have bowlers who could consistent bowl 140+..but in recent edition of ipl, there were atleast 10 Indian bowlers that consistently bowl in mid 140s...but unfortunately our selection committee still selects our off spinner bhuvi 😆😆
thats bcz hindu and aggression cant work together, 80% of hindus in india are timids, thanks to jaats, punjabis and rajput warana aaj ghar ghar pe musalaman ghus ke raaj kar raha hota, yahi kuch hindu castes jo peet sakti hai musalmano ko, sadly all the chief selectors and other important strong posts holder in bcci are from south india, marathi,kannada or some other timid background. bcci is really stupid enough not to encourage youth of haryana, punjab, himachal and rajasthan to bowl fast, here in my city we have so many fast bowlers who easily clock 145-150 but they give up so easily on cricket bcz proper academies nahi hai, and mind u these guys which m talkimg about are well over 6,3 inches tall, strong built, they look proper fast bowlers, not like dibbly dobbly bhuvi, avesh khan or skinny arshadeep

One difference that you can see in England cricket and other cricket boards is that ECB always back their players even after their worst phase.. Stuart Broad's career was supposedly finished when Yuvraj hit him for 6 sixes, now he has over 500 Test Wickets.. similarly, Ben Stokes looked shattered in 2016 but ECB believed in him and he got his redemption thrice..

Their 2nd best bowler doesn't play semi and final and they still end up winning the worldcup. Hats off. The no. of allrounders they have is just ridiculous. Well said Sehwag, Butler's 26 is as important as Stokes as he gave them a fast start in PP - so later batters can take their time. On other hand we have KL Rahul & Rohit etc. who stat pad and play selfish and scared cricket leaving everything for the later batters.

It was a good tight final. Pakistan lost the momentum after Shaheen Afridi went out due to injury. Till that moment Pakistani bowlers were heavily on England batters. End of the day England deserved to be Champions.

Runs in Final was not sufficient. If we talk about win win situation than Runs on Board makes you champion so your batsman has lead you to loose the game . No Doubt bowler has did their efforts to get wickets but runs on board was less.
Pakistan fought very hard. If target was around 160, pakistan could have won the worldcup.
Even with the same target they could've ... But they leaked unnecessary runs in the powerplay ... And the Shaheen thing in the end ...till then it was anybody's game
@@idrisahmed2659 No dude. As a batting side, you have to give runs to your bowlers to defend. Any of your bowler can have a bad day and he can leak runs on that day. So not everything goes as per theory. Pakistan bowled really well but their batsmen were always weak throughout the tournament.

Well played England, they were deserving winners with a squad ready for most situations for this tournament. Pakistan, congratulations for giving a tough fight via their top class bowling despite an average batting performance. They need to work on their batting being more consistent and aggressive. India, well we never selected or backed our talent consistently and we’re confused till the end about right combinations for the conditions. Most importantly, our bowling is the biggest weak link: how can you have 120-125 kph bowling that relies only on swing and if swing is not there we are exposed ? Even the associate teams did not lose by 10 wickets against England. Team management was confused right through the last 12 months over experimenting, maybe too many talented players to choose from. Raw pace is required as a first pre requisite for world class opposition. We have the bowlers, just need to identify, groom them and back them.
